You have no clue what you are talking about. I just wish you could spend a week at the schools and see what goes on there. Mr. Giles is a great principal and understand more that you will ever know. A child like this one can't be reasoned with becasue he has never been taught any better. His grandmother is the one that needs to be handcuffed to a chair so that she can see what he does day in and day out at the school. Just ask some of the other students that have gone home with huge bruises on their stomachs and sides from this child hitting them. If I were the parents of the these students, I would keep my child home until the school board stepped in and did something.

What medical condition are you speaking of? Diabetes???? The last time I checked, diabetes doesn't cause violence and anger! This is a grandmothers excuse for his behavior that she has failed to get control over. She knows something is wrong with him because she has him on Depakote which is used to treat BiPolar disorders. What happened to the other students right to an education. Believe me when I say they are the ones being punished for his behavior. He keeps the classroom in an uproar and the teacher has to spend all of her time trying to control him and the other students are missing out on their education.

I totally agree with the a$$ kicking. He just needs to learn one way or the other that he can't keep bullying everyone.

Have you ever been in handcuffs? Yes they do hurt if they get to tight.

    Re: Wise Primary Student Handcuffed

I was a student at JJK when her son, which i believe is the father of the little boy that was supposedly handcuffed and if my memory serves me correctly her son was causing constant chaos at the school and getting into multiple fights and etc. the same women who showed her butt at the most recent school board meeting came to the high school and ended up slapping the principal which at the time was Dr. Alvey!

So, if I had to assume anything I would assume that this child's "apple...didn't fall far from the tree" and that he is the same way and doing the same things. He may have some health issues and may really have some type of mental disorder or such, but I feel that there are alot of people who use that as an excuse for their problem childen. there are kids out there that they truly do have conditions/disorders, but I believe that these children are being taken care of properly.

i agree with the others that said what about the other children who are affected by these childrens behavior in the classroom. this is taking away from their learning time when teachers have to take care of disruptive and often problem children.

but that's just my opinion. i agree with ndn12....send him off for awhile and see if other teachers or professionals can take care of him any better. don't keep laying blame on teachers and principals in wise county for supposedly not being properly trained to handle her problem child!

Correct on all counts. The child is suspended until Feb.
